IN A RECENT GERMAN INTERVIEW, pop star Lady Gaga paid homage to her favorite fictional amphibian by sporting a jacket adorned with dozens of Kermits! If this isn’t frog fanaticism, we don’t know what is. (Watch the interview here.)

DO YOU REMEMBER THIS song from your elementary school days? We don’t know who (or where) these kids are, but we love seeing them sing about frogs (or not sing, like the little one second from left). In short: amphibians + kids = why not?

WE’RE NOT SO SURE ABOUT THE SONG (who could possibly be afraid of handsome frogs?) but we’ll keep listening as long as we can see that silly interview with the frog-collecting grandma at 1:13. Frogs galore!

‘A SONG OF THE JUMPING FROG OF CALAVERAS’ was written in 1929, and a froggy Flickr friend, froggyboggler found the sheet music to this ditty at an antique store in Calaveras County (which aparently is the home of Frogtown, but we’ll have more on that later). If we played this in the backyard, do you think our frogboys would perk up?

THIS 1955 WARNER BROS CARTOON stars Michigan J. Frog and it was ranked number 5 in the 100 best cartoons ever. He’s a top frog if we’ve ever seen one.
